Ok so I know I don't post random software tips here... but here's one that's been racking my brain and a few others...
I've been using iTerm for a while under OS X. Well with the recent versions they seemed to have changed the default terminal emulation settings. Basically the problem was using vi or vim the arrow keys would not work.
So what you have to do is: in iTerm
- Bookmarks -> manage bookmarks
- Terminal Profiles -> and change Type: ansi to Type: xterm
This should fix it! Hopefully they'll add this to the FAQ or something...
